original comment was ranting about this album. After new setup i have different things to say:Album is bomb. A bit noisy but the wow it's really fucking good!!
I can't believe the record label had the nerve to apply a sticker to the cover stating "180g Audiophile Vinyl". It's 180g alright, but I wouldn't call a noisy URP pressing anything resembling "audiophile"
Yeah, no kidding. Mine has a chip in the side and it's pressed way off center. Worse yet is that I got it with credit from another poorly pressed album I returned. Back to the record store yet again :(
It’s not that bad - it’s just not what I would call “audiophile quality”. It’s got a sheen of surface noise over everything like most URP pressings do. But it’s not unlistenable. And it’s definitely URP pressing, it has their marking in the deadwax.
CultCo is under United Record Pressings? I can't find that anywhere. Is it really that bad of a pressing? Anyone else have a comment on the quality?
