13th Floor is the debut album from Canadian hip hop artist Haviah Mighty. The album was released on May 10, 2019, and was the winner of the 2019 Polaris Music Prize. On March 23, 2019, Mighty announced her debut studio album, 13th Floor, via social media and that the album would arrive in 2019. CBC Music and Exclaim described the album as one of the year's most anticipated Canadian releases. The 13th Floor is the fourth studio album by the Norwegian gothic metal band Sirenia and their first with the Spanish vocalist Ailyn. It was released on 23 January 2009, through Nuclear Blast. The album features guest appearances by Jan Kenneth Barkved who had also made some guest appearances on their album At Sixes and Sevens, and the French violin player, Stephanie Valentin, who adds to the sound along with the choir that has been a part of their sound since the beginning. The album was released. The Thirteenth Floor is a 1999 neo-noir science fiction crime thriller film written and directed by Josef Rusnak, and produced by Roland Emmerich. It is loosely based upon Simulacron-3 1964, a novel by Daniel F. Galouye, and a remake of the German film World on a Wire 1973. The film stars Craig Bierko, Gretchen Mol, Armin Mueller-Stahl, Vincent D'Onofrio, and Dennis Haysbert. In 2000, The Thirteenth Floor was nominated for the Saturn Award for Best Science Fiction Film, but lost to The Matrix. The Thirteenth Floor - Duct Tape. The Thirteenth Floor is one of those films that has gotten lost under all the more well-known films of the late nineties and this is a shame, because it's a damn sight better than a lot of the films that always receive praise from the critics. Not everything in this film works, and for that reason and others it's no masterpiece, but you've got to admire The Thirteenth Floor for it's originality, and it's ability to pull a coherent plot out of a scenario that has 'disaster' written all over it. The film is based on the book Simulacron-3 by Daniel. All music written by The Thirteenth Floor Vocal recording by Mike Poisson Mixed by Dean Hadjichristou Mastered by Troy Glessner Album Art by Sera Nicole. THE THIRTEENTH FLOOR is a Deathcore trio from the Capital city of Canada. Following up their 2014 debut self-titled EP, October 2017 sees the band releasing their sophomore EP The Departed. Rock U - The Album. 13th Floor, Sirenia's first album with Ailyn, finds them continuing to move in a more commercial direction than they favored in the early 2000s. Sirenia's work is still goth metal, although it is goth metal with a lot of pop appeal. 13th Floor has some death metal-ish Cookie Monster growls thanks to Morten Veland contrasting with Ailyn's singing, those growls give the 42-minute CD a touch of Beauty and the Beast appeal at times. But his growls aren't nearly as prominent as Ailyn's singing, and they don't really detract from the overall poppiness of 13th Floor. This isn't Sirenia's most essential album or their most ambitious, but in terms of hooks and catchiness, 13th Floor is a success.
